Sadly the Tennis Club is out of action for the forsee-able future following the devastation by 2022 floods.

The Channon Tennis Club has a long history, starting with construction of the tennis courts in July 1993 after two years of fundraising. Various committees have held the club together over the years and maintained the courts.

There are currently two artificial grass courts and clubhouse (basically a glorified equipment shed!) across the road from The Channon Tavern.

For anyone who wants a game, fees can be paid and keys picked up at the shop or the tavern.

Court hire is $10 hr for members, $15 hr for non-members.

Membership is $50 for family and $30 for singles. Call Ray Flanagan on 66886100 for membership and payment details or direct deposit into the club’s account below, putting your name as reference.

Summerland Credit Union, Account no: 22323644, BSB 728 728

The more members we get the more we can do, with events and coaching.

All other matters, or if keys have gone missing, call Steve Payne on 0404 264 159
